13 Actresses Who’ve Double-Dipped In The Lesbian Kiss Department

The November issue of Vanity Fair features one of my favorite actresses, Penelope Cruz, on the cover, channeling Elizabeth Taylor in “Cleopatra.” And in the cover story, Penelope’s interviewer pauses to ask her a very important—no, make that universe-altering—question: Who’s the better kisser, Scarlett Johansson, whom she smooched in “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” or Charlize Theron, whom she kissed in the 2004 flick, “Head in the Clouds.” Penelope played coy and answered, “No matter how I answer that I will be in trouble. Both were pretty beautiful partners.” [Vanity Fair via Daily News]

But interestingly, back in 2006, when Penelope was asked to divulge her best onscreen kiss ever, she said, “Can I say Charlize Theron? Yes, Charlize, Charlize, Charlize.” Could ScarJo have topped that? It’s possible—she did score Ryan Reynolds.

Now that girl-on-girl kisses are no big thing on TV and in movies (though we still think way too many are publicity stunts), there are many A-list actresses who have swapped spit with multiple starlets onscreen. Here, 13 examples, with video, natch.

Jennifer Aniston has actually kissed three women on screen. In one episode of “Friends,” she smooched both Winona Ryder and then Lisa Kudrow for a split second (above). More recently, she kissed Courteney Cox on “Dirt” (below).

That’s yet another thing she and Jen have in common.

Heather Graham kissed Bridget Moynahan in “Gray Matter” (above). And also Jessica Stroup of “90210” fame in the movie “Broken” (below).

When Calista Flockhart kissed Lucy Liu on “Ally McBeal,” the media had a field day (above). Not so much when she kissed Courtney Thorne-Smith, also on the “McBeal” (below).

Neve Campbell’s kiss with Olivia d’Abo on “Party of Five” also made headlines (above). But not nearly as many as her smoochfest with Denise Richards in “Wild Things” (below).

Denise Richards is another three-fer. In addition to “Wild Things,” she kissed Pamela Anderson in the (we think) straight-to-DVD flick “Blonde and Blonder” (above). And then she locked lips with Heather Locklear on “Spin City” (below).The latter two are oddly sterile.

Chloe Sevigny faked an orgasm with Hilary Swank in “Boys Don’t Cry” (above), and she also played tonsil hockey with Michelle Williams in “If These Walls Could Talk” (below).

Salma Hayek kissed Ashley Judd in “Frida” (above) and Jeanne Triplehorn in “Timecode” (below).

Charlize Theron has also locked lips with another lady besides Penelope Cruz. Christina Ricci played her girlfriend in “Monster.”

Mischa Barton kissed Evan Rachel Wood on “Once and Again” (above). Then she had a whole season of being a lesbian with Olivia Wilde on “The O.C.” (below).

In addition to smooching Mischa, Olivia Wilde also has shared a lesbian kiss on “House.”
