Whoopi Goldberg didn't have a good first day at her job as a beautician at a mortuary, where she was charged with sprucing up corpses. "I heard a sort of creaking. I turned round and one of the drawers was slowly opening," she said. "Then someone sat up and waved at me. Someone who should have been dead.
