The Victim: The world is always "happening to" this woman. You know because she's constantly telling you about all of the awful things that happen to her. She got evicted; she lost her job; the love of her life left her; the cashier at the supermarket tried to cheat her out of her change -- it didn't just accidentally fall on the floor. Perhaps because of some early trauma, she sees the world as an evil place that is constantly scheming to destroy her.
The Guy She Wants Pushing Her Emotional Wheelchair: Someone who she will continue to feel victimized by -- the cheater, the abuser, the con artist, or just a normal guy who she thinks is screwing her over. As long as she sees herself as powerless, her man will always be taking advantage of her.
Her Wheelchair Needs: To take her power back and realize that she calls the shots in her life. Some things we have no control over and some things we do. She needs to focus on the things she does have control over. These are the things "we make happen." If she wants a better, happier, more fulfilling life, she will have to create it for herself.
