As if bed bugs weren't already THE WORST, they engage in a terrible mating ritual called "traumatic insemination." Instead of bothering to actually find the female bed bug's genitals, the male bed bug will instead just poke a hole in her abdomen with his penis and inseminate that way. Nice.
