“Silence of the Lambs”

Jodie Foster was amazing as Clarice Starling in "Silence of the Lambs." But years later, when the sequel "Hannibal" went into production, Jodie didn't want in. Some say she thought the movie was too grisly; others say producers rejected her because she wanted too much money. But I personally think she was probably just sick of people saying, "It puts the lotion in the basket" to her. Julianne Moore took the role instead. [AV Club]
