"American Idol" champion Fantasia Barrino has not had a winning year. It got even worse Monday night after she was checked into a hospital for overdosing on aspirin and an unnamed sleep aid. The singer remains in the hospital in stable condition. Representatives confirm that the incident was a overdose, but did not comment on whether or not it was a suicide attempt. Her manager Brain Dickens said that the overdose could have been fueled by the sex tape scandal and home-wrecking accusations she has been dealing with recently.
