A real cat burglar was on the loose in a Southampton, England neighborhood. Peter and Birgitt Weismantel ratted out their 12-year-old cat to the police after it stole over 70 undergarments from surrounding houses and stores. The owners were worried that people would start reporting missing clothes because of their knicker-nabbing kitty, so they reported him themselves. No charges were given to the feline, and vets assures the couple that it is normal for cats to bring back tokens of appreciation to their homes, though it usually comes in the form of mice not panties. So Mrs. Weismantel should be happy her cat is returning with something she can use. [BBC]
