Transgendered artist JD Samson is most famous for his involvement in the band Le Tigre (with Kathleen Hanna) which put out songs, like "Fifty Years of Ridicule," about the feminist movement, "Keep On Livin'," about overcoming sexual abuse, and "Visibility," about queer rights. Lately Samson has been kicking ass and taking names in an electro-pop band, MEN, which features more of the same feminist-inspired goodness.
