A gay man himself, "Savage Love" sex columnist Dan Savage has been super-supportive of lesbians and others on the spectrum of queer-ness. Just yesterday he used his blog at Seattle's The Stranger newspaper to gripe about the high school in Mississippi which canceled prom rather than allow a lesbian student, Constance McMillen, to attend with her date. Plus, despite being an advocate for adoption, Savage does not hide that he supports safe and legal abortion, too.
