Three years ago, UK man Ben Southall beat out 35,000 applicants to land "the best job in the world" as an island caretaker. That meant getting paid more than $100,000 to spend six months looking after Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef. The only thing he didn't plan on was the near-fatal jellyfish sting.
