Rachel: What exactly about Marion Cotillard makes me jealous? Where do I even begin? Okay, first things first: she’s French. Insanely, insouciantly, inimitably French, and that alone is enough to make me want to be her … but there’s more. Marion is stunningly beautiful — eyes, lips, skin, hair, legs, her entire being seems physically aligned in the most flawless way possible. She’s a more formidable actress, several times over, than most if not all of the A-list Hollywood players that aren’t actually that impressive of players at all. She’s one of the faces of Dior, and regularly gets to don their dresses to awards shows and red carpet ceremonies; in fact, she was the first non-runway model to wear one of the looks from Raf Simons’s first collection for the fashion house, and did she ever! Oh, and lastly, and perhaps most heart-wrenchingly: Guillaume. Fucking. Canet.
