As far as I'm concerned, my life began when I turned 30. In the months leading up to my big b-day, I was dreading it, but once it happened it was like a someone took a magic wand to my life. When I try to explain it, I just can't find the right words. It was like I was able to let go of all the expectations I had about my life and just live it.

But Kim Kardashian, who turns 30 on Thursday and celebrated her birthday this weekend, isn't sold. "I have mixed feelings. Sometimes I'm like, 'Oh my God, I'm turning 30,' and I'm freaking out. Like, it sounds so old," she said. "And then the other half of me is like, I feel so accomplished and it's really no different than 29."
