Johnny Depp is the male Hilary Duff when it comes celebs casting themselves in movies—or maybe it should be the other way around. Johnny is so in demand that even the ladies want him to portray their lives in the movies. Broadway legend Carol Channing says she would love to have Depp bring her story to life on the silver screen and, yes, she is aware that there is a gender difference. Channing responded to the issue of Johnny's XY chromosome by saying, "It is not a new concept to me. Not at all. Men have been imitating me for as long as I can remember. In fact, most of the impersonations I have seen have had a five o'clock shadow." So does this mean Depp gets to keep his sexy and scruffy look? [NY Daily News]
