In 2002, a 68-year-old Joan Collins married 32-year-old theater company manager Percy Gibson. Percy said of the 32-year age-gap, "I'm not going to be so naïve as to pretend we didn't spend a lot of time discussing that very issue, but it's a damn shame for two people so happy together to make the difference in age the reason for not being together." Collins obviously agreed, "I've always felt age shouldn't be a chronological issue. I know that I look and act a lot younger than I am. I'm much more secure in myself than many girls in their 20s." I'm happy they've found love but how are "girls in their 20s" supposed to be secure when guys in our dating pool would rather marry someone more than 40 years older than us? [Hello Magazine]
