Tragedy has struck again at the Travolta home. Two of John Travolta’s dogs were killed in an accident at Maine’s Bangor International Airport, when an airport service vehicle ran them over. They were being walked after coming home on an airplane with the family. Obviously, it’s not comparable to the death of their son Jett in 2009, but the loss of a pet is a heart-breaking experience that can send some into a massive depression. So we hope John and Kelly are doing OK. [NY Daily News]

It seems like there have been a lot of freak accidents in the past couple years involving celebrity pets. Really bizarre ones, actually. So we’d like to pour some out for the little guys (and gals) who’ve passed.
