I will be the first to admit that, back in his day, Warren Beatty was sexy. He first came to my notice in 1989 while I was watching reruns of the "Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis" on Nick at Nite. But even I, who would probably have stripped down if I had met the Beatty in the 1970s, am doubting a claim made about him in his biography, Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America. The book claims that Warren slept with 12,775 women before settling down with Annette Bening in 1992. Author Peter Biskind calls it "simple arithmetic.
