The other day, The Frisky’s resident hip-hop head responded to an email saying she was glad she wouldn’t have to “pour out some bubbly” to a feature that might have gone the way of the dinosaurs. This was obviously a reference to the ’90s hip-hop classic “Gangsta Lean,” except this writer prefers champagne to 40 ounces of malt liquor. But absolutely no one seemed to get the joke. A Look Into John Legend’s Apartment

John Legend recently opened up his Bowery home to New York magazine. He says he wanted a unique space with plenty of light, not a cookie-cutter box. While John’s 1,350 sq. ft. apartment does have floor-to-ceiling windows, giving his home plenty of light, it also looks a little too styled for my taste. Everything, including John and his model girlfriend Chrissy Telgen, seems to be placed just so. That’s not to say I would mind living in this apartment — it also contains a music room, an entertaining room, walk-in closets, and beautiful views of downtown Manhattan.
