Heat Wave Reveals Woman’s Disturbing Secret About Her Late Husband
She was frozen in the heat
Greenfields in Western Australia is where an unnamed couple lived. On Dec. 13, police discovered a deceased 56-year-old man in the hallway of the home of said unnamed couple.
Police determined the man’s death was not suspicious. It is believed that he had multiple serious health conditions.
Reports revealed that the man had been dead for up to eight weeks. Because a recent heat wave in the area helped speed up the decomposition, it was difficult for the forensic pathologist to pin-point how long the man has been dead.
What was suspicious is the length of time he had been dead before his death was reported…
According to Daily Mail, the wife, 58, who has mental health problem, was most likely in shock and refused to accept her husband’s death.
Once the woman finally realized the situation, she contacted neighbors for help. After they informed the police, the wife was interviewed by officials and taken to the Peel Health Campus, where it was revealed that she was in “a poor condition.”
On the local paper’s Facebook page, there were many comments of pity. “No one visiting in 6 to 8 weeks i think and noticing is the saddest thing,” wrote Kirsty Pickersgill.
“This is very sad. It’s coming up to Christmas & it makes you wonder why no one checked on them. Especially if the woman suffers from mental health issues such as alzheimers & he had major health issues as well. He may very well have been his wife’s sole carer. This could have ended a lot worse.
“How horrible this is for the poor woman. I hope that she is now being taken care of & supported during this period,” commented Beverley Ellis.
Chillingly, Candice Gorton revealed, “I saw this woman last week An she spoke of him as if he was alive So sad.”
