Strangest Sexual Laws in the U.S.

Sorry, Tennessee!

Our country was founded by English Puritans which means the their traditions were very much “all work and no play.” There was no interest in the arts, drama, or anything else fun or exciting. So, as one would guess, some of their stricter views on life remained throughout the expansion of the U.S, even when Puritanism fell out of fashion.

Case in point: Great Britain’s newspaper The Sun has had their notorious Page 3, which features topless “glamour models”, since 1970! Meanwhile there are people in the U.S. that still rage at public breastfeeding.

There are still some old timey puritanical laws in on the books when it comes to getting busy. Different states have their own rules of what is and what is not allowed when it comes to sexy time. Oh, ‘Murica!
