Man Admits To Killing Woman and Slitting Her Throat After Saying He Was Bad In…
Some people just can't take criticism
A Little Date
Our sad story begins in a fairly normal manner. Twenty-three-year-old Natthan Raknui and 22-year-old Jiraporn Theppaya met on Facebook in late July, and they started chatting with each other. A love connection was soon established, and they were talking and flirting frequently over the next two weeks. They both wanted to meet in person and takes things further.
So Natthan told Jiraporn that he would take the two-hour bus ride over to her so that they could meet on August 12. Jiraporn was thrilled that her lover she had yet to meet was on his way. When he finally arrived in her town, they hopped on her moped and rode off to find a place to be alone.
They really didn’t have the money to pay for a hotel room; they felt that it may be more exciting to have their first tryst in an open field at a nearby rubber plantation.
Murder Most Foul
They arrived at their love nest in the open air and started going at it; the rest we only know from Natthan’s testimony. He said that Jiraporn was quite unenthusiastic about his skills. She went so far as to say that he “sucked” at it. Natthan was feeling ashamed, humiliated, and infuriated.
He produced a knife, put it to her throat, and cut it all the way across. Jiraporn perished from her wound. He left her corpse at the plant in Songkhia in southern Thailand, and he zoomed off on her moped to flee the scene. He later sold the bike for 7,000 THB which amounts to about £164.
Embarrassed in Bed
The hunt for Jiraporn was on… since she never came home. After the local police checked her internet history and her phone records, they found that she had been talking to Natthan about meeting up. Believing that he had something to do with her disappearance, they tracked him down to Phatthalung, a place where he was often checking in on Facebook.
Natthan admitted to what he did, and the police located Jiraporn’s body three days later. Natthan was charged with her murder.
If this scenario is shocking to you, it’s unfortunate to learn that it’s not completely uncommon. In July, Kenneth Manzanares killed his wife on the Emerald Princess cruise ship, saying, “She would not stop laughing at me.” She died of a massive head wound, but it appeared to witnesses that he may have been trying to throw her overboard to cover up his crime.
