“Good Girl” Prom Posters in Florida High School Spark Outrage

It's 2017. We have to do better.

Prom. It’s supposed to be the best night of our young, high school lives. Although that’s rarely the case, high schoolers should be allowed to maintain the “perfect prom” illusion until the night is over, right?

Wrong. Because high school girls can’t have nice things.

With prom season in full-swing, the oppressive, misogynistic, and shameful biases of American schools are once again showing their ugly faces, but thankfully, students are no longer standing for it.

The good news? They’re seeing results. Just look at what happened at Stanton College Prep school in Jacksonville, Florida.

These girls (and allies) aren't taking this lying down
