I do have to say that I like g-strings.  I would choose a g-string over a thong any day.  They aren’t as uncomfortable as thongs and I think they are perfect for those days where you are rocking tight pants or a skirt.  The only other option I suppose is going commando, which I am not a fan of at all, unless I’m in bed. 

A thong is a necessary evil when wearing certain clothes.  That said, almost NO ONE looks good in a thong naked from the dorsal view. You probably have to be around 18 to pull that off. Just not flattering.

What kind of thongs are you ladies wearing that are so uncomfortable?!  I love thongs—it’s almost all I own.  Just keep them 100% cotton and the right size and you won’t even notice it’s there.

I think men just like butt cheeks.  Thongs used to seem kinda taboo, but now their everywhere so not so interesting.  but men will always like butt cheeks. My hips are wide and I have a flat butt so normal panties always hang and bunch on me. on a side note- my boyfriend bought me the only not thong underwear that I own.

I would say G-strings are sexier than thongs. Having said that I really only find the underwear my S.O. wears sexy if it is the right mood. Wearing a thong when we go out grocery shopping does nothing for me, just thinking about whether we need O.J. or not.

I used to wear only thongs, but now I’ve converted. It began when I learned that they increase your risk of a yeast infection, but now I’ll do anything to avoid them! I’ll wear them for a sexy night in, but not all day unless it’s necessary. For no VPL, I’ll always opt for laser-cut boyshorts before a thong. That all being said, I do really really love OnGommaser’s Luxury Liner thongs. They are so comfortable, I can’t even feel them.

@ CROUTON just for the record my bf HATES thongs. he says it makes butts look weird esp if they’re higher cut lol i mean he has a point. he likes more innocent cotton boyshorts. he ‘hates all things slutty’ (fishnets, heavy make up, diamondy bras, lace and silky stuff) he calles it ‘cliche’ and porned-out. i wonder if this is all really one big cover?

I kind of like tangas, even though they give pedgies (I too learned that term today) because the pedgie reminds me that I’m wearing sexy panties, then I feel more confident and sexy on the outside. My bf hates thongs and whenever I where them, he asks if it’s uncomfortable or if it gets dirty (you know what I mean). So now I just try not to wear them unless I absolutely have to, like when I’m too lazy to do laundry.

don’t know why quite a few are saying thongs don’t flatter from behind! whoa! i wear thongs everyday (with the exception of when aunt flo comes around) and i just feel uber comfortable. i have yet to get an infection and i think its completely criminal to have panty lines showing. but back to that reference of thongs looking bad from behind! i’ve never had a complaint!

i love the new cotton seamless thongs at target. i cut off the tags so i have no idea what brand they are but they’re not as high cut and very sporty i’m an athlete so i need a good thong for hard work outs that wont bunch up under my shorts.
@bunnymatic. before wetseal and other stores that carry those cheap polyester thongs caught onto the ‘low cut’ trend thongs used to be high cut and the top of the thong part came way above your butt....making your butt look long and...well sad. lol. i love low cut thongs that fit your butt. those ARE flattering, but i guess it also depends on what kind of butt you gots!

WHO ALLOWED WET SEAL/CHARLOTTE RUSSE/GOD KNOWS HOW MANY STORES to manufacture those cheap polyester thongs!! i remember i bought a few, as the deal was buy so much and get it for so much and even after washing they were super uncomfortable and made me itchy! but i agree, those high cut things are so not flattering. the lower the cut it seems, the perkier the butt. or at least that’s the response i get!
