It’s Tami Taylor, Y’all

I’ve been in denial about the end of “Friday Night Lights.” With Connie Britton’s Emmy nom and this video compilation all of Tami Taylor’s y’alls, I suppose I can begin the grieving process. I won’t forget you Tami. You are an amazing wife and mother and all-around human being whose graciousness I shall only dream of attaining. Plus, her hair always looks so good. The Girls Of “Community” Bust Out The Retro Lingerie

Community” is hands down one of my favorite shows on television, and Alison Brie and Gillian Jacobs are so, so brilliant in their roles as uptight Annie and posh girl Britta, respectively. So it makes me a touch sad that one of the few ways they can get space in a magazine is to put on lingerie and pretend to spank each other with hairbrushes. But then again, this photo is hot. And they do have a sense of humor about it. “With a shoot like this, you’re negotiating these positions together,” said Alison. “‘Can you move your crotch a little to the left? Really get it up there.’” Gillian adds, “The next day we were texting each other, ‘Are you sore, too?’” So I guess I approve. [GQ] Keep reading »

The Good, The Bad & The WTF: The Emmy Nominations

Melissa McCarthy and Joshua Jackson woke up very early this morning to announce this year’s Emmy nominations. Unfortunately, they didn’t get to show off their personalities much—the proceedings were austere, as usual, with just a smattering of laughs and giggles, and the whole thing was over in six minutes flat. After the jump, the good, bad, and WTF of the nominations. Keep reading »

The Critics Take On “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2″

The newest and final installation of the “Harry Potter” series, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ will be premiering at midnight tonight. Perhaps you already have your tickets, or perhaps you haven’t yet decided whether you need to be one of the first to see it. Well, the critic’s reviews are trickling in and, overall, everyone is saying it’s the best of the seven. After the jump, some choice excerpts from reviewers, so you can decide if you will grab your sleeping bag and head to the theater tonight or if you’ll wait until the hype dies down (or at least until a reasonable hour on Friday) to see it. Justin Timberlake And Mila Kunis Chew Gum While Bumpin’ Uglies In “Friends With Benefits”

A restricted clip/trailer for “Friends With Benefits” (above, opening July 22) has me curious about something — have you ever f**ked and chewed gum at the same time? Excuse my French — Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis drop the f-bomb a lot in the trailer above, so I’m just getting into the spirit. Anyway, they also are seen doin’ the nasty while both smacking on gum. I can only imagine that this is going to be some sort of minor plot point in the film, as I don’t know of anyone that actually thinks it’s a good idea to chew gum and hump at the same time. Am I crazy? Keep reading »

Joel McHale Trains Melissa McCarthy For Tomorrow’s Emmy Nominations Special

Tomorrow morning at exactly 5:35 a.m., Melissa McCarthy of “Bridesmaids” will join Pacey Witter Joshua Jackson of “Fringe” to announce this year’s Emmy nominees. Nervous about the gig, Melissa consulted last year’s host, the hilarious Joel McHale, for advice. And thus, this hilarious training video was born. I cracked up when Joel rubbed a puppy on Melissa’s face and told her to “feel nothing.” How cute. Though maybe not cute enough for me to set my alarm to 5:30 a.m. [Huffington Post] Keep reading »
