Sandra Bullock Adopts A Baby Boy!

Boy, when Sandra Bullock breaks her silence, she does it in a big way! In this week’s People magazine, Bullock not only discusses life since learning of her estranged husband’s alleged infidelities, she confirms she’s filed for divorce. But that isn’t even the biggest news. Her real bombshell is that she’s adopting a baby boy! She and Jesse started the adoption process four years ago and brought home the baby from New Orleans in January — before her Oscar win and before her marriage publicly broke up. She now plans to adopt as a single mom. Of her new son, whom she named Louis (pronounced Lew-ee) Bardo Bullock, she tells People magazine: “The first time I met Louis it was like the whole outside world got quiet. I have an inner 5-year-old. And this inner 5-year-old totally thinks it’s funny when people prank Wikipedia. Take for example, one jokester who amended Michael Lohan‘s Wikipedia page on Monday. After the whole bringing-cops-to-Lindsay’s-apartment kerfuffle last week, Lindsay had Tweeted, “My dad is crazy!!” And so in lieu of adding actual info about Michael to the page, this person made the page read, “My dad is crazy!! My dad is crazy!! My dad is crazy!!” over and over again. Yes, it’s juvenile. But also funny. [Radar]

We were totally rooting for Whitney Houston after she dumped Bobby, kicked the crack habit, sat down on Oprah’s couch, and got her comeback tour on the road. But at some point along the way, the tour turned into a total bust. She has been plagued by respiratory problems that she claims were caused by a bad AC unit. And at her Sunday concert at London’s O2 arena, her voice simply gave out in the middle of “I Will Always Love You.” “Oh, it’s going to come,” Houston pleaded with disappointed fans in the middle of the song. “I wanna do it—but [my voice] just doesn’t want to. I have long talks with her. Well, tonight she’s getting a little temperamental.” (Side note: it’s not OK to talk about your voice in the third person.) Critics are calling her a shadow of her former self and superstar in dramatic decline. Eek! [People]
