Quiz: Real Or Fake Super Sexy Sensual Erotic Courtney Stodden Tweet?

Courtney Stodden
I like to think that my Twitter followers are generally amused or enlightened by the 140 characters missives I fire of 5-20 times a day, depending on how funny/lonely I’m feeling. But upon reading the Twitter feed of Courtney Stodden, the now 17-year-old wife (yesterday was her birthday!) of 51-year-old “actor” Doug Hutchison, it is clear I need to step up my game. My tweets are nowhere near as erotic and sensuous, nor filled with as many teasingly placed winky emoticons. For example, just yesterday, Courtney tweeted:

While I lie beneath this sizzling-sun, the popsicle that I am sweetly sucking on begins to melt & drips irresistibly all over my moist body!

See what I mean? Amazing. To rejuvenate my own purple prose, I decided to practice by creating this highly entertaining and, to use another of Courtney’s favorite 50 cent SAT words, invigorating quiz. As you click through this slideshow, you’ll be presented with tweets that were either written by Courtney herself, or by me trying to channel my inner Courtney. Can you tell the difference? The answer for each will be revealed on the slide that follows. Let me know how you did — and write your own Courtney-inspired tweets — in the comments!

Kelly Bensimon Shows Off Her “Ferrari”

“My body is like a Ferrari … I know what it needs to run well and that doesn’t include drugs, alcohol, or cigarettes … I ride horses, and gripping the animal with my thighs to stay on is the ultimate lower-body workout.”

Kelly Bensimon shares her fitness secrets in the September issue of Shape. There’s no denying that her body appears to be running like a well-oiled machine and her tip about gripping horses with her thighs is enlightening. But whose face has been shopped on Kelly’s body? I don’t even recognize her. [OK!, Shape] Keep reading »

Quickies: Michele Bachmann Loves White People UPDATE: It’s A Hoax!

  • Leave it to Rep. Michele Bachmann to yell “Who loves white people?” at a campaign stop. Fortunately, she was only referring to the White People Soul Band, a group that performed there. She probably shouldn’t appear with musicians that sound like White Power bands, though. (Just for the record, they’re not.) [BuzzFeed] UPDATE: It has come to our attention that this Michele Bachmann video is a hoax. The video was edited to make it sound like she says “Who loves white people” when in fact she appears to have said “Who loves wet people” before talking about the rain. She was not, in fact, referring to “White People” as the band that played before her (although there is a band called White People Soul Band). My apologies for not being aware the Bachmann vid was a hoax sooner. [Gawker]

  • Boneheads on Twitter went after Demi Lovato for her recent weight gain and the singer/actress snapped back with, “That’s what happens when you get out of treatment for an EATING DISORDER.” Ten points to Demi! [ONTD]

Kate Winslet Talks Escaping From That Fire

“I’m just glad that everyone is safe. And this easily could not have been the case … I will never forget Richard placing his arms around both my children as we were watching the flames, and saying, ‘At the end of the day, what you realize is that all that matters is the people that you love. Everything else is just stuff. And none of that stuff matters.’”

Kate Winslet talks for the first time about the fire that occurred while she was vacationing on Richard Branson’s Necker Island with her children and her boyfriend, Louis Dowler. The 20 people staying at the resort made it out unharmed, Branson’s 90-year-old grandmother only because Winslet carried her out on her back. Even Branson’s tortoise managed to get out. Apparently, the fire started from a lightening strike thanks to Hurricane Irene. Irene, you have a lot to answer for. [NY Daily News]

5 Things To Know About Romola Garai From “The Hour”

I could take or leave BBC America’s “The Hour,” about Brits who run a political news program in the 1950s. It’s a thinly-veiiled “Mad Men” knockoff with a bit of mystery swirled in. Yet, every time I see that actress Romola Garai is onscreen, I cannot look away. In addition to being naturally gorgeous and possessing a vintage ’50s wardrobe to die for, Garai plays producer Bel Rowley in the show’s leading female role. Think: Peggy and Joan rolled into one with a British accent.

I knew I recognized her from somewhere, but couldn’t place quite where until I read that she played older Briony in “Atonement” and the lead in “Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights.” Two, uh, very different roles. After the jump, a few more must-know details about Romola Garai: Keep reading »

Amber Heard Is In A Relationship With A Woman, But Isn’t A Lesbian

“To say I came out implies that I was once in. Let me be straight about that—no pun intended—I never came out from anywhere. I’ve always lived my life the way I’ve wanted and have been honest with myself and everyone around me. It didn’t really affect anything in my career. I don’t think the producers and directors I’ve worked with care one way or another … I don’t want to be labeled as one thing or another. In the past I’ve had successful relationships with men, and now I’m in this successful relationship with a woman. When it comes to love I am totally open. And I don’t want to be put into a category, as in ‘I’m this’ or ‘I’m that.’ … [Gay marriage] is an important issue, and I’m fighting for the right to get married. For other people.”

Amber Heard of “The Playboy Club” explains to Playboy magazine that while she is in a three year relationship with a woman, photographer Tasya Van Ree, she doesn’t want to be categorized as bisexual or lesbian. I understand what she’s saying, but I have to wonder if the fact that she’s an actress playing largely straight roles has anything to do with her hesitance here. [ONTD, Playboy] Keep reading »
