This weekend, there was a party in LA! I was not invited! Tons of pretty celebs were there wearing fancy dresses and, again, I was not invited! The party in question was the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) Art + Film Gala, which was raising money to make film a more important part of the museum’s offerings. (It’s Hollywood, they want film to be the focus of everything, amiright?!) Upon looking at the fancy dresses these famous ladies were wearing, I realize I would have had nothing to wear anyway, so I’m glad I made other plans, i.e. stayed home and made spaghetti and painted my nails. Thank you for not inviting me, fancy Hollywood event planners. I would have felt guilty saying no. Anyway, click through this slideshow to see what Reese Witherspoon, Kate Bosworth, Evan Rachel Wood, Amy Poehler, Kate Hudson, and a whole bunch of other fancy people wore instead.
“I met him [once] and I didn’t know what to expect. He was so funny and goofy. His timing and everything was amazing. I was like, ‘You’re supposed to be my husband!’”

Besides having a mad crush on host Charlie Day, part of the reason I was so psyched for this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” was I couldn’t wait to see how the show handled Kim Kardashian’s divorce announcement. And I was not disappointed. The show did not hold back in its takedown of Kim’s 72-day marriage in an “ad” for E!’s “Kim’s Fairytale Divorce.” From “Kim,” “Kourtney,” and “Khloe”‘s monotone Hollywood whine to Bruce Jenner’s overdone facelift to Kris Jenner’s desperate desire to be seen as one of the sisters, the skit was almost — almost — too mean. And then there was Kris Humphries’ … well … you’ll see. Just watch!
Oh, Leonardo DiCaprio, this emotion chart wonderful. You’re a gorgeous child progidy who has risen to be one of the most reknowned actors of our generation — but you take yourself a little too seriously. At least you’ve unfurrowed your brow and taken a step back with the light-hearted film, “J. Edgar,” hitting theaters on November 9. Nothing like an epic biopic spanning 40 years, political and personal scandals, and ambiguous sexual preferences to mellow things out. (See full chart here.) [Star 94.1] Keep reading »
