At last night’s Brit Awards in London, Adele was midway through her “Album of the Year” acceptance speech when the hosts cut her off mid-sentence to announce the beginning of Blur’s super long performance. Adele, usually so sweet as pie, had a middle finger message for the suits upstairs. She’s even adorbs when she’s pissed off! The Marni for H&M launch party was attended by a who’s who of Hollywood It Girls — way more than 10, in fact. Some wore fancy-pants, high-end Marni (Dianna Agron, Lily Collins, and Rashida Jones, for example), while others wore the lower-priced line that the event was celebrating. Don’t ask me how, but Vanity Fair and Juicy Couture came together last night to present the 20th anniversary of their Vanities bash, co-hosted by Shailene Woodley. The fête, intended as a pre-Oscars celebration, brought out a pretty random assortment of celebs, and some even more random outfits. Seriously, things were weird. Lana Del Rey is making big, big strides, if not in the music stratosphere then in the fashion world. Mulberry’s Autumn 2012 collection strode down the runway in London yesterday, and viewers caught the first glimpse of Lana’s new eponymous bag. Yes, that’s right — the brand that coined the ever-lusted-after Alexa, as in Chung, is now offering the Del Rey, a ladylike tote reminiscent of a larger-scale take on Fendi’s illustrious Baguette.
