Today in “Real Royal Tenenbaums News” … the internet is aflutter with the rumor that Bobbi Kristina Brown — 19-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston — is dating 22-year-old Nick Gordon. Gordon lived with Whitney and Bobbi Kristina from the time he was 12 (though Houston never officially adopted him) and served as an older brother figure to Bobbi Kris. Apparently, the romance rumors started when Gordon tweeted the above photo (which some suggest has, like, sexy overtones?) and referred to her in the possessive (“MY Krissi”). Then he responded to the rumors, writing on Twitter, “Yea we got a little closer and what!!!!” never denying that the two are an item and retweeting those who defended the (alleged) romance. So, while it’s not a direct confirmation, it’s not a denial either. So, yeah… [Twitter via Crushable]
Here’s Ricky Martin and Nicki Minaj in a new ad series for M.A.C.’s Viva Glam collection. All sales from their lip conditioner (Ricky’s) and lipstick (Nicki’s) go toward helping families impacted by HIV and AIDS, so it’s a great cause. But aside from that, this ad just makes me really, extremely happy. Look at Ricky Martin lift that lipstick! [M.A.C.]
Before I proceed to massage your throbbing ovaries with photos of adorable kids, let me explain what I mean by “big, serious” celebrity babies. “Big, serious baby” is a phrase Ami uses to describe babies who are not necessary large in size (although it helps) but have a weighty seriousness to their demeanor. Some babies are super giggly and smiley and then some babies look like they found out they owe $20,000 in back taxes or have just finished reading Angela’s Ashes. Personally, I think a big, serious baby is almost cuter than a smiley baby, but let’s face it, they’re all adorable and I’ll take one of each! So, here are some of Hollywood’s most big, serious babies, thinking big, serious thoughts.
We loved Jennifer Lawrence in the indie flick “Winter’s Bone,” and now that she’s taken on the role of Katniss Everdeen in “The Hunger Games,” she’s poised to be a mega-star. That’s why we figured it was time to take a look back through her greatest looks on the red carpet.
It used to be that celebrities were shrouded in mystery, lightyears out of the atmosphere that “normal” people occupy. Thanks to gossip magazines and that little thing called Twitter, Hollywood has no secrets anymore. I can’t speak as to whether this is for better or for worse, but it’s certainly … interesting. Have you ever speculated what it might be like to see celebrity beauties like, say, Jennifer Aniston or Blake Lively up close and personal, the way they air their lives out for the world to
see read? Well, speculate no more — Celebrity Close-Up has it taken care of. They’ve got the closest of close-ups of the stars, hence the name, and their own tagline says it best: “Get close to celebrities! Really close. So close that you will beg to be taken far, far away to a place where you’ll never have to see that celebrity ever again.” Indeed, I would not be sad if Billy Crystal’s forehead rendered itself suspiciously void from my subconscious. Check out a few more after the jump and the rest at the link! [Celebrity Close-Up] Keep reading »
Last night was the premiere of “The Hunger Games,” what will be arguably one of the biggest movies of the year. It’s expected to gross more than $100 million this weekend, given the popularity of the book franchise, and turn Jennifer Lawrence from indie sensation to household name. Predictably, there were tons of celebs in attendance, some who held court in sartorial glory, and others who missed the mark. Click through to see who fared well in “The Hunger Games” Battle Royale.
