So, I have mixed feelings about the trailer for Baz Luhrman’s upcoming adaptation of “The Great Gatsby.” On the one hand, Leo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan in period costumes retelling one of the greatest suppressed love stories ever. On the other, why does Luhrman always create an anachronistic soundtrack that completely pulls you out of the story? Also, I might be wrong, but I swear I thought I saw the Dos Equis “Most Interesting Man In the World” lurking around somewhere in there. In any case, can we talk about the costumes? I want these costumes. Really. Let’s take a look.
Kelly Osbourne was spotted with new man Matthew Mosshart on her arm. The chef and brother of The Kills singer Alison Mosshart looks very familiar to me. Hmmmm. Could that be because he is the spitting image of Ozzy Osbourne circa the Black Sabbath days? Yes! That’s it! I knew I wasn’t being paranoid. This guy looks an awful lot like her dad. Which is just the slightest bit creepy or sweet … depending on how you look at it. Kelly wouldn’t be the first celeb to date someone who had a strong family resemblance. This week brings the worst hair weather ever. Like, 90 percent humidity and drizzly. Soupy. Ick. Let’s see what we’re wearing today. Ignore the hair (mine, at least).

“The Amazing Race,” which we’re totally sick of if we’re being honest, is still airing after 11 years, yet we will never have the pleasure of seeing another episode of “Blind Date” again. It doesn’t seem right. Why was that show cancelled? It was 27 minutes of pure entertainment. It captured the awkwardness of dating without missing the humor. The best episodes were the ones where the daters got really drunk and ended up in a hot tub … so almost every episode. And those thought bubbles were genius. Sadly, this dating show left our television screens in 2006. R.I.P. favorite reality TV show ever. I think about you all the time and sometimes watch clips of you on You Tube when I’m having a bad day. Click through for a stroll down the memory lane of great reality TV shows that are no longer.
