I love summer sandals, but some warm-weather adventures are better taken with sneakers on. Canvas sneakers are a lightweight alternative and pair well with skimmer pants, shorts, skirts and dresses. Here are 10 pairs to kick it in!
There is something wonderfully nostalgic about tater tots. Tater tots were the highlight of my school cafeteria lunches — nothing matched their crispy greasy goodness. These days, I prefer French fries, but these creative creations have me wanting to stock up and go to town…
Etsy is the go-to place to find homemade soaps and Christmas ornaments, so why not feminist T-shirts? But maybe a simple “This Is What A Feminist Looks Like” tee won’t get the point across. Maybe only a vagina dentata T-shirt will cut it. Don’t worry, Etsy sellers have got you covered! [Image of a confused woman via Shutterstock]
I recently bought a slouchy chambray jumpsuit and I have been living in it ever since. Its lightweight fabric makes it perfect for summer and I’m convinced it’s not just for lazy days — it can be dressed up for a hot date and styled to be appropriate for work. GUYS. The “Game of Thrones” finale is THIS WEEKEND. How did the season go by this fast? Why must we wait another year until we get our fix of our favorite Westerosis?

I’ve been sadly skeptical of the show for the last four years, which I found out was a mistake as soon as I started watching. I’m so addicted that I binged the first three seasons over the course of two weeks and then, not being able to wait a week between episodes, started reading the Song of Ice and Fire series. I’ve found that it’s surprisingly easy to find clothing and accessories that are up to ethical and sustainable standards, but when it comes to shoes, the pickings are few and far between. There’s certainly stylish, handcrafted, responsibly sourced footwear out there — if you’re willing to spend a minimum of $300 on a pair of shoes — but if your budget is closer to $100 or less, your options dwindle to recycled yoga mat flip flops or … well, that’s pretty much it. Timberland is working to change that with their Earthkeepers line. Made using recycled materials and sourced from factories and tanneries that have shown a commitment to the environment, Earthkeepers are stylish, high quality shoes that you can feel good about buying and wear for years to come. I’m particularly enamored by their summer collection of sandals and espadrilles. Click through to check out 10 of my faves!
