An Anatomically Correct Dress

My first thought when I saw this amazing anatomically correct gown was: I need to get married in that. Unknown designer. But we love it. Exposed lungs. A skeleton on view. How much more revealing can a dress be? [Atomic Anatomy] Keep reading »

Kate Moss Tangles With A Cartoon Snake For Balmain

Well, this is rather lovely. Kate Moss starred in Balmain’s fall/winter ad campaign. Now, the brand has coupled up with Nowness to create an animated video version. In it, Moss fidgets and flops on a sofa while her hair changes color and a series of cartoon creatures accost her. A black snake slithers around her neck and plays with her cigarette smoke. A creepy hand tackles her face. What appears initially to be a fun illustration by the end suggests the girl prostrate before us is possibly haunted by darker forces not readily seen. We like. James Van Der Beek Is A Dad We’d Like To …

Heard of MILFs? Well, James Van Der Beek is here to show that dads can be sexy too. As the spokesman for DILF brand khakis, Van Der Beek models the butt-contouring pants that will have all the soccer moms drooling. I like the part where he humps the hedge trimmer. Did you know Dawson had a booty like that? I didn’t. Keep reading »

Salon Ends Broadsheet Blog, Announces Tracy Clark-Flory’s New Role

For many Frisky staffers, and Frisky readers, we’re sure, Salon’s Broadsheet blog is a daily must-read. A so-called “feminist” blog, Broadsheet has always been more than that — a blog about politics, sex, and cultural trends that just so happens to look at those subjects through the female lens. Now, Salon has announced Broadsheet will be no more. Which is sad. But we’re thrilled to hear that one of our favorite lady writers, Tracy Clark-Flory, who has been at the helm of Broadsheet for the last year, will still be writing for Salon but focusing on long-form original reporting on sex, relationships, and, we’d imagine, feminism. We’re looking forward to more of her insightful, thoughtful, and balanced work that never ceases to make us think. BTW, if you’d like to share your earliest sex memories with Tracy for an upcoming story, she’s looking for interviewees. [Salon] Keep reading »

Now This Is A Hand Gun

From artist Joseph Barbaccia’s Integration series: BLAMe. Not quite sure what that title means, but I like the idea here. Feeling a little vulnerable? Wish you were better armed? Well, have a handgun transplanted onto your hand, and you are a post-feminist Terminator. One question, though. When the bullet exists the forefinger, will it mess up my manicure? Let’s All Enjoy Oliver Cheshire’s Six-Pack

Helloooo, Oliver Cheshire! He came into our office today and was, like, “Can I help?” And Amelia and I took one look at each other, and we were like, “Sure!” So, we told him that one work requirement was that all boys have to work shirtless, and then we pointed at some boxes, and we were like, “Move those.” And he did. Shirtless. And it was a wondrous sight to behold. Now he’s under Amelia’s desk and massaging her feet. With his tongue. I would have gone for him, but he’s only 5’9″, and that’s four inches shorter than me, so she can have him. Apparently, our new boy toy is British and around 20 or 21. We asked him how old he was, and he was like, “I don’t know,” and we were like, “Fine.” Because, who cares, right? No, you can’t borrow him. He’s our pet. [The Fashinisto] Keep reading »
