Some of Diesel‘s ever-annoying “Be Stupid” campaign posters have been banned in Britain for fear that they’ll inspire bad behavior in local kiddies. Frankly, we’re spitefully pleased to see the campaign — which reminds us that “stupid is the best idea smart ever had” (whaa?) — cut down a bit. The entire campaign wasn’t removed, but a take-down notice has been mandated for some of the racier, dumber images, like a girl flashing a security camera and displaying side boob. Also under fire is an ad featuring a woman photographing her private parts while walking through tall grass in her underwear as a hungry-looking lion lurks. Naomi Campbell, no stranger to courtroom appearances, will be testifying in a trial for someone other than her rage-y self, it seems. Former Liberian President Christopher Taylor is on trial for 11 counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity and Campbell is being called to testify at the trial. According to actress Mia Farrow, Campbell herself said that Taylor gave her an uncut diamond at a party at Nelson Mandela’s house in 1997. Given that one of the charges against Taylor is that he armed rebels in return for diamonds mined by children, The Trial Chamber thought it reasonable to call on Campbell to testify. In our ongoing efforts to find the ideal concealer for these hot months, we gave Make Up Forever’s HD concealer wand a try. We were impressed by the smooth feel, oil-free aspect and the fact that it left us neither dry nor slippery. Our only gripe with the stuff is that you have to be very careful about the quantity you use because if you go a little bit overboard, you’ll start looking chalky.
