With Thanksgivukkah quickly approaching, it’s time we put the turkey and menorah talk aside for a moment to focus on something super important: your sexytime situation.
For those of you who are coupled up, the holidays often mean traveling with your significant other, either to visit your family or theirs, to enjoy the festivities together. A Thanksgiving-inspired post from our very own Jessica on How To Share A Bed With Your BF At The Parents’ House Without Epic Awkwardness got me thinking: how many people would actually do the hanky-panky at another’s house over the holidays? In my humble opinion, the American Music Awards are kind of the red-headed stepchild of all of the music awards. And thanks to Miley Cyrus’ performance with Robin Thicke at the VMAs earlier this year, the AMAs will really have to bring their A-game if they want to stand out— and I think they will.
That’s why we’ll be watching and live tweeting, every step (and inappropriate dance number) of the way. (Above, watch the livestream of the red carpet.) Keep reading »
For those of you who watched “Nashville” last week, you’re aware that they left us with the most shocking, WTF cliffhanger ever. I literally yelled “WHATTTT?!?” and paced around my living room for 20 minutes. And Lesbe honest…you probably did, too. (See what I did there?)
Thankfully, they’re picking up where they left off tonight with “Hanky Panky Woman,” and we’ll be live tweeting through the entire episode, thus minimizing my chances of injuring myself from barefoot living room-pacing. Keep reading »
This morning on my way into work, John Mayer’s “Assassin” came on my iTunes, and I said “Ugh, this song is so underrated.” Then I realized I said it out loud on the train and the lady next to me shot me one of those “whatever you say” glares, having no idea what I was listening to. But the song speaks to me. It’s haunting in a beautiful way, but it was never pimped out like the majority of John’s other songs—which is probably why I love it.
I listened on to one of my favorite jams and realized there are SO many great tunes, by well-known and lesser known artists alike, that are completely underrated. Some songs just never made it big and others are simply underplayed and under appreciated for how freakin’ awesome they are. Because why listen to fantastic, fresh songs when every radio station can play Lady Gaga’s “Applause” one hundred times between breakfast and lunch, amiright? Keep reading »
If you’re anything like me, you’ve already started dreaming about piles of garlic mashed potatoes, slices of beer-battered turkey and mom’s famous creamy green bean casserole. And if you’re like me, you also have no idea how the hell to make any of the aforementioned foods without burning down the kitchen.
But help has arrived. Keep reading »

Yesterday, our very own Amelia wrote an article about her inability to orgasm from almost all of her sexual partners—with the exception of one. However, despite the fact that she’s frequently unable to reach the big “O” when partnered, she still finds sex satisfying.
But what if that partner were someone you wanted to marry? Could you tie the knot knowing he/she couldn’t get you off … and might never be able to? Keep reading »
For as long as I can remember, people have been asking me what it’s like to be a twin. Over the years, I’ve expected the questions to become less stupid and frequent, but unfortunately, the exact opposite has happened, leaving me fearful for humankind and hoping Darwinism comes into play sooner rather than later.
I get it, though. To people who were born solo, twins are fascinating—so fascinating that people lose the filter between their brains and their mouths and feel the need to ask the most ridiculous questions when they come in contact with a twin, or Heaven help us, a set of twins.
Take, for example, these nine questions I and my twin have been asked more times than we can count… Keep reading »
The holiday season is approaching, which means towering feasts of carbohydrates, presents wrapped tied up with shiny ribbons and movie nights in front of the fireplace are near!

Don’t expect to get a hold of me any Sunday night from now until the end of the year, because I’ll be watching “Masters of Sex,” and your girl doesn’t like to be interrupted.
Ever since my roommate coerced the cable company to give us free Showtime for a year because our cable box was shorting out, I’ve been spending every spare minute getting caught up on “Masters of Sex,” a drama about the science of human sexuality and the researchers who helped spark the sexual revolution. It’s so goooood.
It was Masters and Johnson who paved the way for sites like The Frisky to be able to talk openly about sex, eliminating at least some of the stigma and taboo. They clocked tons of hours watching people masturbate, fornicate and reach orgasm while they were recorded and hooked up to heart monitors and electrodes — all for the benefit of science (and of course, some extra money).
