Ah, the Kids’ Choice Awards — where the children dress like grownups and the grownups dress like space hookers (lookin’ at you, Heidi Klum and Katy Perry). It’s a special event, really. We’ve assembled a smattering of the attendees — because, geez, every single cast member of “The Hunger Games” wasn’t strutting the friggin’ red carpet — and have commenced with getting judge-y all over their wardrobes. See if you agree with our assessments!
Model Jessica Stam looks good in pretty much everything, it’s true. But we especially like this neutral-toned ensemble with orange accents that she wore to the opening of the new Joe Fresh store in Manhattan. Such a fresh and clean look.
London fashion designer Marcus Lupfer is known for making cheeky, creative videos to showcase his collection, and this latest video, to highlight his Fall/Winter 2012 collection, is no exception. It features London band No Cars emulating some of Lupfer’s favorite ’90s Japanese indie pop bands, like Cornelius and Pizzicato 5. And of course they’re wearing Lupfer’s latest collection which he says has “a dark fairytale forest feel.” [Fashionista]
Look, I can’t say for sure that Hollywood’s heavy-hitters were inspired by my and Amelia’s “Twinsing” post. But I will say that it seems like a bit more than just a coincidence that mere weeks after we attempted to ignite a photo trend in “Twinsing,” it was announced that Danny Devito, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Eddie Murphy will star in a sequel to the classic 1988 movie called “Triplets.” Oh yeah that’s right, Eddie Murphy will play Arnie and Danny’s third brother. Oh, hell. This sounds like a great idea. Where do I sign up? [Dlisted]
Karley Sciortino is the lady behind the hilarious sex blog Slutever — and now she’s the new face of Vice’s sex vlog. In her debut episode, she attempts to uncover the secrets of successful dating by asking a few “experts” — including her mom, a love expert, a gay prostitute and a neuro-scientist. This isn’t necessarily SFW, but it’s definitely worth a watch. See it after the jump! [Vice]
UPDATE: We’re trying to get the video to play. Sorry!
