There once lived two sisters, born of the same magical egg, an egg which once belonged to the most powerful sorcerer in the kingdom. That sorcerer made a deal with the devil, and lost — and damned his magical egg daughters to a life of eternal opposition. Where one would have two names the other would go by just a singular moniker. Where one would date only sly young douchebags, the other would canoodle with the brothers of French presidents. And though they might come together over their shared love of pizza, the sisters Ashley and Mary-Kate were destined to always be torn asunder: One would represent the night, the other the light of day. Or something!

Having A Bad Day? It’s Nothing Compared To This Little Guy’s

Drunk Kittens on the Prowl

Sure, maybe you owe the IRS a lot of money, or your boyfriend just broke up with you. But you didn’t accidentally get yourself stuck in the exhaust system of a car. That’s what happened to this little two-month-old kitten, who miraculously lived through the ordeal (phew!). The car’s owner found the little guy wedged in the car’s exhaust system and assumed that he was dead so he drove him to a local mechanic to be cut out. The mechanic then discovered that the animal was still alive, and he was rushed to a nearby animal sanctuary for emergency intestinal surgery. He’s currently recovering there, and will hopefully be adopted by someone who prefers to travel via bicycle. [Metro]

It’s perhaps no surprise that the fashion world would come out in support of a more liberal presidential candidate. But what is shocking is that the normally quite demure Vogue editor Anna Wintour would deign to make a campaign video on behalf of one. But yet here is Ms. Wintour, openly praising and supporting Barack Obama and encouraging supporters to enter to win a seat at an upcoming fundraising event! Still, it’s nice to see that even in the throes of political campaigning, Wintour remains her intimidating self. [YouTube]

My skin is perpetually dry and bumpy. My mom would blame it on my veganism, but I blame it on living in the northeast and dealing with stupid and unpredictable weather patterns. We’re probably both right! My skin is always kind of ashy, and also red and I get tons of ingrown hairs on my legs from shaving and just living. So thank God for this Boots Extracts Cocoa Butter Sugar Scrub. It manages to both exfoliate and smooth without irritating my skin at all. I get out of the shower after washing with this stuff and my arms and legs actually feel soft and beauty product commercial lovely. I’m not gonna lie — the softness fades after about half a day, and I go back to having rough, patchy knees again, but for those few hours, I’m in skincare heaven. [$9.99, Boots]
