Oh darling Matthew Falkner of Palm City, Florida (always, always Florida), you and I are soulmates. After all, you were arrested in the parking lot of a Taco Bell, after employees there noticed you were idling your car in the lot and pressing heavily on the accelerator, with smoke coming out of the engine. Police asked for your identification, and instead you reached in your bag and pulled out a taco. I really love tacos, so I’d actually welcome a taco or five from you, my friend. Oh sure, your blood alcohol level was .22 when you were arrested — three times over the legal limit — but that just means you’d benefit from someone to share your happy hour margaritas with, right?

Apparently your car was on fire at the time of the incident, too. Perhaps you were looking to reheat your Burrito Supreme? [Foodbeast]

Todd Time!

Who didn’t absolutely love the awkward-as-hell Cindy Crawford on the ’90s fashion show “House of Style”? Cindy was less than comfortable actually speaking on camera, but that didn’t stop the execs at MTV from capitalizing on her supermodel popularity. While the original “House of Style” is long gone, MTV has decided to reboot the show as a web-mostly series. The new host will be announced during the MTV Video Awards on September 6. Our guess is Alexa Chung, but either way, we’re stoked to see a comeback. We managed to dig up this vintage video of Todd Oldham interviewing designers Andre Walker and John Galliano, plus two more amazing clips after the jump!

It all costs less than $70. Look for it in stores this fall.

We slather on tons of lotions and potions in order to get our skin glowing and gorgeous — and apparently women have been doing this since the beginning of time. Just ask Cleopatra’s eyeliner applier. But in the 1950s and ’60s, beauty treatments took a strangely Draconian turn. Our friends at Collectors Weekly dug up some of the most bizarre beauty devices from the era. We want to see if you can guess what women might have used them for. Take our quiz above!

Marmosets, Horse Hooves & More: All The Random Bits Of Trivia We Know

Random Turn-Ons
Random things that will definitely turn him on. Read More »

According to the wise words of pick-up artist Mystery, the best way to start talking to someone new is to throw a really weird piece of trivia at them and wow them with your offbeat charm. This has personally never worked for me or on me, because dudes who create strange avatars and wear “funky” velvet top hats are generally wildly repulsive, but even so — I love me some random trivia. And actually, my brain is mostly full of the stuff — like, I basically don’t have any practical knowledge, and instead just have a magical array of little factlets that I use to sound like I know more than I actually do. Like for instance, did you know that marmosets have two scent glands in their tails? Because they do. And also? The equestrian statues dedicated to the battle of Gettysburg — that is, statues where some old dead dude is sitting prostrate on a horse — are coded to let you know how the rider died. So like, all four hooves on the ground? That means the person died of natural causes. Front hoof raised means the person was wounded in battle but survived. And two hooves up? That means the person died in battle.

Really important stuff, right? And yet, it’s the stuff that’s filling up my brain space.

And I’m not the only one! We all have some random tidbit of trivia that are swimming around, taking up valuable thought bubble space. After the jump, The Frisky’s best pieces of trivia — that you’re welcome to steal as your own! And feel free to share your favorite trivia in the comments!
