The Ray-Ban Virtual Mirror

Ray-Ban has gone one step above the paper doll concept of online dressing rooms by offering a downloadable program that allows you to try on sunglasses in a virtual mirror. The image is taken straight from your web cam, and you can move with it, which is pretty genius considering that up until now we never would have risked buying sunglasses online. We can only imagine how this could evolve for the clothing industry. It would be beyond amazing if we could stand in front of our web cam in our undies and be able to virtually try on clothes! Crave: Blue Q Gum

What better way to say all the inappropriate things that you’re thinking than with gum and mints? We love the “Does this gum make my butt look big” gum almost as much as the “Wanna hook up?” gum. They’re a great way to break the ice … or build some up. [$1.25, Blue Q] Keep reading »

The Golden Days Of Summer

Crave: Lomo Super Sampler 4 Lens Panoramic 35mm Camera

We love this Super Sampler Camera from Lomography! Not only does it take four pictures at once, but it’s also super affordable. The two settings let you snap moving pics in two different speeds — four photos in 2 seconds or 0.2 seconds. This is the fastest way to tell a story and spice up that scrapbook. [$44.95, Adorama] Keep reading »

Make Up Your Face For Under $20

Why, oh why is makeup so pricey? Yes we love our YSL and Benefit, but considering the circumstances, maybe schlepping to the drugstore beauty counter aisle isn’t so bad anymore. We’ve rounded up a face full of daytime-friendly makeup for a mere $20. Keep reading »

DIY Dating in the Dark

Viewers are going crazy over the new ABC show “Dating in the Dark” where women and men are forced to get to know each other in the pitch black darkness. After a few dates, they are allowed to see each other without speaking and finally must make the choice of how important looks really are. Here at The Frisky we wish we had time to audition and hop on to one of these fun shows, but sadly we don’t. (Consequently, some of us also have boyfriends who just wouldn’t understand.) Instead we’ve decided to find activities to recreate dating in the dark. Keep reading »
