10 New Completely Ridiculous Reality TV Series

Reality TV is notorious for exploiting people’s prejudices. Whether that be cultural stereotypes about people of color, teenagers, people who live in certain parts of the countries or women – reality TV loves to sink to the lowest of the lows. Unfortunately, watching them is just about everyone’s guilty pleasure (including my own). The more ridiculous the better usually and if the people are old enough and cognizant enough to recognize what’s happening then I guess it can’t be so bad. This year is bring us a slew of terribly-terrific reality TV. From “Fat Girl Revenge,” a show about formerly large women seeking vengeance on their haters, to “All My Baby’s Mamas,” a show about Shawty Lo and the 10 women who birthed his 11 children. 2013, guys, it’s going to be a good year. Read more…

The 12 Best, Most Accurate Movies About Life In Your 20s

Your 20s are a pretty important and crazy decade of your life. No longer a teenager, you’ve entered official “adult” territory. It’s the decade of evolving responsibility. Your brain fully finishes developing, basically making your neural structure, and thus every other structure of you, set for a while. Men reach their sexual peak. Your body begins to burn fat less quickly. Multiple all-nighters become a thing of the past and hangovers more common after an amount of drinking you used to not even need a glass of water to counter.

But as you’re changing, so do the movies about you. Gone are the sweet stories of innocent teenagers whose entire world is high school or even college. John Hughes no longer applies to you. No, in your 20s you’re part of a bigger world, the so-called “real” world, and those microcosmic tales no longer seem as relateable. The doe-eyed ugly duckling story is less resonant. The young prodigy destined for greatness is a pipe dream you’ve outgrown. So where do you turn? What movies best reflect your emotional, financial, and bodily changes? Well, here’s a few I’d recommend. Read more…

kissing couple photo

As you pass through your teenage years via the valley of lost virginities and the college years of random sex, the simple act of kissing starts getting really underrated. It makes sense, I guess. When you’re 16, the make-out sessions aren’t leading anywhere (at least for me, I started kind of late) so you can just relax and get into it. Making out is EXCITING at that age. It’s fun, it feels amazing. But, when you get a little older, kissing turns into foreplay – a means to an end. Seriously, when was the last time you just made out for hours with a guy without him expecting more?

16 Surprising Things All Girls Do When They’re Alone

So a few days ago I saw this wonderful little article on The Frisky via Reddit about the surprising things that all guys do. One of my favorites was boys disclosing how they un-stick their balls from the side of their legs. It’s actually kind of disgusting and disturbing. And a wonderful reminder how unhygienic we all REALLY are. Like, I’m really gross guys. I hate to break the news to the boys, but I am a disgusting human.

Right now the leggings-as-pants I’m wearing are going on their third day of use. But I totally doused them with perfume before I put them on, so it’s not even gross, okay? Okay, so I’m going to lay it all on the line here. These are things I do more often than I’m willing to admit, and don’t play with my emotions. You totes do them too. Read more …

The Evolution Of Undies In 10 Photos

I hate wearing bras. Ugh. My full C cup ta-tas require the utmost support. Whenever I start complaining about how girls have to wear uncomfortable underwear I just remember my foremothers who had to wear all that full-bodied corset BS that I am pretty sure was damn close to torture. In order to quell my undergarment woes I decided to do a bit of research into how women’s underwear has evolved throughout the past century. From corsets to the Wonder Bra, it’ll never be any surprise to me that when feminist decided to rebel against gender norms they burned their bras. Read more…
