Crave: CC Skye Safety Pin Necklace

Remember those beaded safety pin bracelets from camp? Yes, the elastic ones with the multi-colored seed beads. We never, ever, thought safety pin jewelry would make a comeback. However, ever since we spotted this sparkly, gold safety pin necklace, we’ve been obsessed. It’s delicate and yet it adds an element of toughness to any outfit. So, we stand corrected. Office supplies can be fashionable. [$100, CC Skye] Keep reading »

Crave: Retta Le Ritz Stationery

Sure, e-mail is convenient, but there is something to be said for a hand-written note. They’re classy, meaningful, and come on, who doesn’t like getting real mail?Just remember, the stationery you use sends a message. This lemon-patterned paper by Retta Le Ritz looks like it’s made from beautiful, vintage wallpaper and is so gorgeous, you almost don’t want to write on it. [$20, Retta Le Ritz] Keep reading »

Crave: Mimobot Designer USB Flash Drives

There are just no words for how cute these little designer USB flash drives are. Well, actually, there are a ton, but we’ll refrain from gushing too much. The 55 different “characters” are beyond adorable, and you can even get dress yours in a mini fuzzy hoodie and attach it to your keychain. Think of them as modern-day Tamagotchis (oh come on, you know you had one back in the day), but you don’t have to feed them. [from $34.95, Mimoco.com] Keep reading »

Crave: Dough Ray Me Cookies

I’m seriously addicted to these itty-bitty cookies. Each kind is named after friends of the company’s owner, Jon Chazen. “It’s a way to honor them,” he says. “I don’t name them after anyone I was intimate with—no ex-girlfriends, not even my wife—and she understands.” Jon worked at Barneys New York selling women’s shoes, but one day he had an epiphany and decided to go to baking school. Once he realized his true calling, he started his own bakery, and the rest is history. My favorite flavor is the “Summaiya.” They’re chewy oatmeal cookies with raisins, sour cherries and, get this, crushed potato chips. It’s a perfect sweet, sour and salty combination. Jon told me he put so many different layers in this one because Summaiya “had a simplicity about her, but she was very complicated at the same time.” Now I want a cookie named after me. I’m thinking chewy chocolate with raspberry chocolate chips. Here’s hoping Jon needs a new BFF. [$45 for tin with six dozen cookies, Dough-Ray-Me]

Crave: Bing Bang Bullet Studs

These itty-bitty oxidized-silver bullet studs are perfectly feminine and edgy at the same time. It can be difficult to find an accessory that truly goes with everything, but these do the trick. They’ll balance out the frilliness of a girlie dress, and they’ll look just as good with an over-sized sweater, leggings, and bad ass boots. You’ll never want to take them out.
