Zendaya asks woman body-shamed on Twitter to model her clothing line
Zendaya made it clear from the beginning that she wanted her clothing line, Daya by Zendaya, to be inclusive for women of all sizes, and she’s stuck to her word. When she came across a disgusting man body-shaming a woman on Twitter, Zendaya asked the body-shamed woman to model her clothes. It turns out modeling had always been a dream of the woman’s, so the malicious attack actually worked out in her favor.
The original tweet was by user Eskimo Jay (who’s since deleted the tweet) showing a selfie of the unidentified woman’s face next to a picture of her full body, saying, “Never trust a top half posting ass female lmfao.” After Zendaya saw that garbage, she tweeted, “Stumbling across this is stupid shit, she is fine as hell head to toe and garunteed does’t know you exist my man. As for her, slay on queen.” She then asked her followers to help her find the mystery woman, posting, “Can we find her @….I’d love for her to be a @dayabyzendaya model.”
Proving the internet is sometimes a wonderful place, she was quickly discovered to be user @_illestCee. The self-described “+size princess” then tweeted, “im really speechless right now because becoming a plus size model has been my number one goal.”
Making it even more official, Daya by Zendaya followed up by tweeted at the college student, “We are ready, when you are!!!” This is seriously the best job offer story of all time.
Unfortunately, Eskimo Jay didn’t get the memo that he was in the wrong, despite deleting his first disgusting tweet. When he tweeted another photo body-shaming @_illestCee, she wasted no time dragging his ass, writing, “give it up pa.”
Both @_illestCee and Zendaya are queens. I can’t wait to see @_illestCee model the singer/actress/entrepreneur’s clothes.
