Kim Kardashian skips first public appearance following Kanye West’s hospitalization

Some strange things are afoot in the Kardashian-West household. It’s been over a month since Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris and nothing’s been the same since. Kanye West was hospitalized Monday night and Kim Kardashian reportedly skipped her first public appearance since she was robbed to be by her hubby’s side.

It was all good just a week ago. Or maybe it wasn’t. Kanye West was in the middle of his Saint Pablo Tour when things took a peculiar turn. During one of his California concerts, he told the audience he didn’t vote but if he did it would’ve been for Trump. Record scratch, freeze frame. Now, we know Kanye’s been trash for quite some time — the confederate flag merchandise, slut shaming Amber Rose, saying racism isn’t a thing. But proudly announcing he would’ve voted for the unqualified bigot is a level of “when keeping it real goes wrong” that’s too much to bear.

Shortly after letting us know his garbage political leanings, he went on a rant against Beyoncé. The man is obviously obsessed with Bey. Aren’t we all? “Beyoncé, I was hurt because I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over ‘Hotline Bling,’” he said. He also name-dropped his friend Jay Z. “Jay Z, call me bruh.”

This all comes shortly after an earlier rant saying he felt Jay Z should’ve called him following Kim’s traumatic robbery. He admitted on stage that Blue Ivy and North West have never played together.

Then on Monday, Kanye was reportedly admitted to the UCLA Medical Center after the police received a medical welfare call. He was at his trainer’s house when he began acting erratic and was placed on psychiatric hold, TMZ reports. Kim was alerted of her husband’s hospitalization on a flight from L.A. to NYC for the Angel Ball, a gala honoring her late father, Robert Kardashian.

“Kim was seen boarding a private jet to New York at around 5 a.m. L.A. time and had planned to make a late entrance to the gala, skipping the red carpet, to honor her father,” a source told Page Six. “But when she landed in New York, something was very wrong with Kanye, she turned around and headed straight back to L.A. to be at his side.”

Is it too soon to mention The Beygency being real? Coming for Beyoncé publicly never ends well.
