Donald Trump Saying “Titties” In A Speech Is The Best Mistake He’s Ever Made

Donald Trump certainly isn’t known for giving clear, concise speeches that outline a plan for the country, but things got weirder than normal Monday. During his economic policy speech to the Detroit Economic Club, Trump said “titties” instead of “cities,” and it was without a doubt the best speaking gaffe he’s made so far in the election. Leave it to the sexist billionaire-turned-politician to be bring boobs into the presidential race.

It’s clear he meant to say “cities,” as the whole sentence was, “And, by the way, into titties, like right here in Detroit.” D0 Detroit titties need a lot of money to rebuild? Perhaps he needs to move the teleprompter a little closer to him next time. Or, you know, actually read it.

The irony in the slip up was that he had just attempted to diss Hillary Clinton for saying she would raise taxes for the middle class, although she actually said she wouldn’t do that. “Recently, at a campaign event, Hillary Clinton short-circuited again — to use a now famous term — when she accidentally told the truth and said she wanted to raise taxes on the middle class,” Trump said just before his oral nip slip. That karma’s a bitch.

Although saying “titties” on national TV isn’t a very presidential move, it at least distracted everyone from his horrible economic policy he was supposed to be talking about. Combining his previous plan with House Republicans’ agenda, Trump wants to simplify the seven current income-tax brackets to just three — 12 percent, 25 percent, and 33 percent, considerably higher than the original 10 percent, 20 percent, and 25 percent he proposed during the primaries.

Despite the change, his plan is still expected to drastically increase the national debt without helping the economy, as he wants to cut income, corporate, and estate taxes with no plan for how to make up that money. He also wants to eliminate already existing environmental regulations that he claims are forcing electricity prices up, which would have detrimental effects on the environment at a time when way more action needs to be taken, not less.

So, while saying “titties” on national TV makes him look dumb, the nuances of his economic policy make him look even dumber. Fair warning though: watching the sexist oompa loompa say “titties” over and over again elicits a visceral need to vomit. Everyone knows he’s a fan of them, but America really doesn’t need to hear that word come out of his mouth.
