Jay Z Finally Responded To ‘LEMONADE’ In A New Song, And It’s Pretty Much What You’d Expect

After weeks of wondering when Mr. Beyoncé, Jay Z, would respond to LEMONADE — you know, an entire incredible album about what a pathetic piece of shit he is and how his continued existence is merely a blessing from God his wife, who owns his ass forever now — he finally did and it was…very Jay Z of him.

Early Wednesday morning, the 46-year-old rapper released a remix of Fat Joe’s new song “All the Way Up” on Tidal, which includes this line, presumably in response to the world’s most glorious diss album released by his 34-year-old wife:

“You know you made it when the fact your marriage made it is worth millions / Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is / Survival of the littest.”

I mean, OK. We get it, Jay, you’re still the muh’fuckin greatest.

That said, “Of course sometimes shit go down when it’s a billion dollars on an elevator” is still the single greatest one-line response to a Knowles-Carter scandal ever put in a remix. (It’s a small but important category.)

According to US Weekly, Jay Z is currently working on a full album in response to LEMONADE, which means it’s only a matter of time before these masterful scandal queens have us all subscribed to Tidal.
