Here Are All The Movies Coming To Netflix In June In Case Going Outside This Summer Doesn’t Interest You

Messaging someone about a movie or TV show like, “Oh, you’ve never seen that before? You should come over and watch it!” usually works when it comes to arranging Netflix and chill sessions. It doesn’t really matter what the movie is, but now that Disney’s new releases will be available on Netflix, we’ll have lighter, less depressing options to pause and make out to. In fact, here we’ve compiled a complete list of every movie coming to and leaving Netflix in June.

Growing up, I’ve always imagined the “Disney vault” to be a big metal room where they kept every VHS and DVD of every Disney movie ever. I know now that this was not a literal vault, but merely a marketing technique so to limit a film’s availability, and therefore that much more enticing to buy and watch. Netflix has a similar tactic with limiting the amount to time their movies are available. Plus they have to change the options up for the best of the bingers.

According to Jezebel, before heading to the vault or anywhere else, Disney’s new releases will be available on Netflix first.

“As of September, a deal Netflix cut with Disney back in 2012 takes effect, meaning the service gets the latest movies from not just Walt Disney Animation, but Marvel, Pixar, and Lucasfilm too.”

Alas, we can’t have it all. Some Disney movies are leaving Netflix soonHercules will be removed on June 1, while you have until June 24 to watch Mulan and The Hunchback Of Notre Dame.

I personally love re-watching Disney classics as an adult. It’s fun to see what humor was over my head as a kid and to play drinking games like “drink every time Disney plays into a stereotype.”

Don’t worry, we’re not losing them all. TarzanRobin Hood, Lilo & Stitch, and Emperor’s New Groove will still be around.

And now, the main event. Here’s the list of all the flicks we’re getting on June 1st.
