Beyoncé Cancels Nashville Stop On ‘Formation’ Tour And Fans Are Pissed

Only a couple of days after Beyonce kicked off her long-awaited ‘Formation’ tour, the superstar Queen of recently released surprise album, Lemonade, has had to (gasp!) cancel her Nashville show totally last minute, TMZ reports. The reasons are still very unclear.

The tour kicked off on Wednesday evening in Miami, FL and was a sold out show. No surprises there. Live Nation announced that the Nashville concert which was slated for Thursday, May 5th will now have to reschedule because of issues with Nashville’s Nissan Stadium “not being ready.” So the question is, was this the stadium’s fault or Beyonce’s concert crew?

Live Nation released a statement regarding the cancellation: “Following Wednesday’s sold out opening night Formation World Tour concert in Miami, promoters Live Nation announced that the Nashville concert previously scheduled for Thursday, May 5th will be rescheduled. Details about the rescheduled date will be announced shortly and Nashville tickets holders are advised to retain their tickets which will be honored at the rescheduled event. … Live Nation apologizes for any inconvenience.”

Alright, Beyhive, it’s going to be rescheduled so don’t get your bonnets in a bunch.

Nissan Stadium was NOT having the the blame put on them, however, and they sure as hell made sure everyone knew it:

No new dates for the rescheduled show have been announced yet, and so far no other concert dates will be changed and according and no other concert dates will be affected by the last-minute change.

Fans are NOT happy about the cancellation and some took to Twitter as well to voice their frustrations:

Let us not forget Beyonce is human before we cast her name in the mud, shall we? Ok ok, she is also a goddess – duh – but I mean really we are not trying to badmouth her here for having to cancel a show while on tour. It happens!

Good luck on the rest of the tour, Bey. We’re rooting for you.
