Listen to P!nk’s First New Song In Three Years
P!nk fans, slide down off your silks and grab your headphones, because our girl is back in action. After a three-year long hiatus to take down body shamers and share baby pics, all it took was that sweet, sweet Disney ca$h to get the queen of love-rock anthems back to the studio.
“Just Like Fire,” released today, will appear on the Alice Through the Looking Glass soundtrack. It’s acoustic rock P!nk operating at a solid, I’d say, 60%. After three years, it’s more than enough.
“I like quirky and I like weird, and this movie is one of the more quirky and creative stories,” she said in a featurette about the upcoming film.
More importantly, well-founded rumors suggest that she’s working on a 7th album to be released later this year. She’s registered two tracks named “Love Me Anyways” and “Recovering.” Now that sounds like the P!nk we all know, love, and took acro-yoga to be like. Anyway, you’re interested in hearing “Just Like Fire,” in Dolby Surround Sound, Alice Through the Looking Glass is in theaters May 27.
