What Are The Worst Industries For The Pay Gap? It’s Bleak All Over, Guys.

In honor of “Equal Pay Day,” a “holiday” that celebrates the fact that women, on average, make $0.76 to the dollar that every man makes, we thought it might be fun to shed some light on the industries where the wage gap is the worst. It’s bad news if you love computers, because you will certainly make less than your male peers. Better news if you want to fly an airplane, because you’ll certainly be closer to closing that pesky thing. And, if you’re in media, ugh, sorry, do what you can to get out, because the Men will always make more than you, every single time.

Glassdoor produced an extensive and relatively depressing study last month really digging into the wage gap and its discontents, and surprise! Most of it is pretty fucking bad. Below, a collection of jobs to avoid, if you’re interested in fair pay, equal rights and not being treated like you’re less than what you’re worth!
