Gilmore Girls Fans Will Finally Learn Those Last Four Words

Yanic Truesdale, who portrayed the eternally put-upon hotel concierge Michel Gerard in Gilmore Girls, let slip a tidbit about the Netflix revival that has fans flipping out. According to Gilmore Girls lore, creator Amy Sherman-Palladino knew the exact four words she wanted to end the series on, but because of her contract disputes with The WB, she didn’t work on the seventh and last season of the show, and thus the last four words have forever remained a mystery to fans.

Truesdale, who is probably fielding very angry calls from Amy Sherman-Palladino and her velvet hat, told Us Weekly that the script for the revival includes those famous last four words.

“I know them because I read the script!” he said, adding, “I always felt it was intriguing, like everyone else. I was like, ‘How does she know the last four words?’ But when I read it, I was like, ‘Oh, OK. That makes sense.’ I can see now why she knew that that would be said.”

The thing is, we don’t know how long we’ll have to wait to find out! Netflix is releasing four episodes that will clock in at about an hour and a half each, and there’s no release date as of yet. And who knows — they’ll probably make us wait until the last of those episodes to find out. Ugh, who do we have to bribe to get a peek at that script?
