Geek Out This Weekend With These Classic Atari Games

Greetings, fellow gamers! Cancel your weekend plans, because Atari has just unleashed a #flashbackfriday package of 100 classic games from the ’70s and ’80s. The Atari Vault will run you about $17, which seems like a lot when you can snag a lot of these as free ROMs, but Atari has spiffed up a bunch of these games with online multiplayer options and the Steam leaderboards–not to mention they’re definitely gonna work on your PC. Which, honestly, is more than you can say for some of those janky emulators. Plus, each game supports your Steam Controller so you don’t have to futz with the keyboard to get your game on, unless that’s really your thing.

Alas, this is for PC users only, and it doesn’t include any games made by developers other than Atari. You can kiss those dreams of finally beating E.T.: the Extraterrestrial goodbye, but hey, you’ll be able to play Centipede until the cows come home. Buy it here.
