Trump And Cruz Engage In Lofty Intellectual Debate Over Whose Wife Is Hotter
Throughout the election, many voters have expressed their desire to hear the candidates really speak about “the issues.” You know, the important issues that affect every day people like you and me. Issues like the economy, foreign policy, health care–and, of course, which candidate has the hottest wife.
In response to the whole kerfluffle over an anti-Trump Super PAC releasing an ad featuring a picture of Melania Trump in GQ and suggesting that Mormons vote for Cruz because this makes her immoral or something (?), Donald Trump threatened to “spill the beans” on Heidi Cruz.
NOW, The Donald is retweeting memes about how his wife is hotter than Ted Cruz’s wife, featuring a picture of the conventionally attractive Heidi Cruz making a weird face as proof.
Though perhaps it may seem unusual for a candidates to go after another candidate’s wives in this particular fashion, this tweet is perfectly congruent with Trump’s stance on the attractiveness of women named Heidi throughout his campaign.
“Sometimes I do go a little bit far,” he allowed, adding, after a moment: “Heidi Klum. Sadly, she’s no longer a 10.”
If nothing else, he’s consistent on this issue.
