Rihanna Has Only One Regret In Life, Which Is Not Surprising in The Slightest

Vogue  has elected to bless us with a fourth Rihanna cover and she looks stunning, save for that dress, which could stand to loose the sleeves, if you ask me, but I’m not a fashion person, just someone with eyes and opinions!!

Regardless of what anyone thinks about the dress that is covering the human, it’s well worth it to give the interview a read. Here are some juicy bits, including but not limited to the first goddamn sentence which describes where I’d rather be any day of the week, including but not limited to Super Bowl Sunday.

IT’S SUPER BOWL SUNDAY, and I am in the large gothic home of Real Housewife Carlton Gebbia in Beverly Hills, the setting for Rihanna’s Vogue shoot.

Contrary to popular belief that she’s spent the two-years-and-change time between albums smoking blunts and living her life, we learn that Rihanna was actually hustling in her downtime to get her career and her music to a place that makes her happy.

After fulfilling her contract with Def Jam, she created her own imprint, Westbury Road Entertainment, on Universal’s Roc Nation label. In a bold move, she then acquired the masters of all her previous albums and made a reported $25 million promotional deal with Samsung. Robyn Rihanna Fenty, the island girl plucked from obscurity at sixteen by a posse of music moguls, is becoming one herself.

Good work takes time, energy, devotion and passion. All of this is evident on Anti, which, for Rihanna stans and regular people alike, was worth the wait. The piece goes into some detail about her forays into fashion, as well, but the most important thing that anyone will learn from this is that the Queen Of No Fucks To Give’s greatest regret in life is both relatable and fucking amazing: she wishes she wore different panties with that slap-you-upside-the-head-it’s-so-good CFDA Awards dress from 2014.

Here’s the dress, for your reference.

RIHANNA CFDA DRESS

Here’s her regret.

“I just liked it better without the lines underneath. Could you imagine the CFDA dress with a bra? I would slice my throat. I already wanted to, for wearing a thong that wasn’t bedazzled. That’s the only regret I have in my life.” Wearing a thong that wasn’t bedazzled is your greatest regret in life? “To the CFDA Awards. Yes.”

May we all work towards a life in which our greatest regret is about bedazzled undergarments.
